THIS KIT IS FOR THOSE WHO HAVE TAKEN A SOAP MAKING WORKSHOP.

Soap making involves sodium hydroxide, commonly known as lye, which must be handled carefully and safely. This kit is intended only for customers who have completed a soap making workshop and understand the cold-process soap making method, required safety precautions and proper handling of sodium hydroxide.

It is not intended as a beginner soap making kit or as a substitute for hands-on instruction.

Our Organic Soap Making Kit includes pre-measured organic oils and sodium hydroxide, along with a complete recipe and step-by-step instructions. By taking care of the measuring and ingredient sourcing, the kit makes it easy for experienced soap makers to create another batch at home.

Each kit produces approximately 3 lb of finished soap, which can be cut into roughly ten 1-inch bars.

Please purchase this kit only if you have completed a soap making workshop and are familiar with:

• Safe handling and storage of sodium hydroxide
• Appropriate protective equipment
• The cold-process soap making method
• Safe workspace preparation and cleanup

Always follow the included recipe and safety instructions carefully. Keep sodium hydroxide and all soap-making materials away from children and pets.

Ingredients

Organic coconut oil, organic olive oil, organic sunflower oil and sodium hydroxide.

While many of our products are good for years, because they are natural we recommend opening them within 6 months of purchase and using them up completely within 3-6 months of opening. Unopened products may have a shelf life of up to one year but we recommend using them when they are fresh and at their best. 

Our products are farmcrafted with natural ingredients and therefore should be stored at room temperature away from direct sunlight or extreme temperature changes. Please ensure hands are clean, use a spoon or spatula with each use and avoid getting water or other contaminants in the jars. Always ensure lids are closed when not in use. 

Every product is handcrafted, small batch and from scratch. While recipes are consistent, colour and texture may vary slightly from batch to batch.
