The workshop is on the second floor of a two-story building, so good mobility is a must. 

*Adults only* We are working with Lye (sodium hydroxide) so participants must be 19 years or older. 

In this three-hour class, you will create and take home 3lbs of your very own soap, which you can customize with colour and scent using pure essential oils, organic clays & botanicals. 3lbs of soap is equivalent to 10 of our Farmcrafted Soap Bars (valued over $85)

You will also be provided with a silicone mold, complete with wooden box for support and wooden lid (valued at $25). You can take this home with you and reuse it for future soap making sessions.

If you have sensitivities to smell or other allergies, please contact us directly to ensure the class is suitable for you.

We will provide all of the supplies and equipment for soap making. 

You are responsible for wearing appropriate clothing, which means no open-toed shoes and definitely not your Sunday best. We are working with lye, so wearing clothes that may get stained, is best. 

You are also required to bring rubber gloves and an apron. (Those yellow cleaning gloves work well).

Each class is $129 per participant. This fee is non-refundable.

Once payment is received, we will send you a confirmation email confirming your space in the class. A few days before the class, we will send a follow-up email with more detailed instructions of what to bring and what to expect. Please read it carefully.

While many of our products are good for years, because they are natural we recommend opening them within 6 months of purchase and using them up completely within 3-6 months of opening. Unopened products may have a shelf life of up to one year but we recommend using them when they are fresh and at their best. 

Our products are farmcrafted with natural ingredients and therefore should be stored at room temperature away from direct sunlight or extreme temperature changes. Please ensure hands are clean, use a spoon or spatula with each use and avoid getting water or other contaminants in the jars. Always ensure lids are closed when not in use. 

Every product is handcrafted, small batch and from scratch. While recipes are consistent, colour and texture may vary slightly from batch to batch.
